Gurudwara Dasvin Patshahi is located in Nadaun, Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and is a significant religious site for Sikhs. It is situated on the banks of the River Beas and is dedicated to the 10th Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh. This Gurudwara is historically important because it marks the location where Guru Gobind Singh fought the Battle of Nadaun in support of Raja Bhim Chand of Kahlur and other hill chiefs against the Mughal general Alif Khan in 1687. The battle was fought to resist the Mughal forces who were sent by Miari Khan, the Governor of Jammu, to collect tribute for Aurangzeb’s court. The Gurudwara stands as a reminder of this courageous stand and is managed by the Shiromani Gurudwara Management Committee in Amritsar, Punjab. The site is not only a place of worship but also a symbol of the unity and bravery of the local hill chiefs and Guru Gobind Singh.
