Nirmand, often referred to as the "Kashi of the Himalayas," is one of the oldest rural settlements in India, dating back to the early Vedic period. The temple is built in the traditional Pahari architectural style, featuring a double-storeyed structure with a gabled slate roof. The temple complex resembles a hill fortress, with a small courtyard enclosed by a solid wooden door and an entrance on the western side.
