The Shimla Water Catchment Wildlife Sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh is a vital area spread over 10.25 square kilometers, situated just 8 kilometers east of Shimla Town. This sanctuary plays a crucial role in supplying water to Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. The sanctuary's altitude ranges from 1900 to 2620 meters, offering a cool and refreshing escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
