Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, is a special and exciting place to visit. This high-altitude sanctuary, at 14,200 feet above sea level, is known for its beautiful scenery and rare wildlife. It is the only cold desert sanctuary in India, covering 1400 square kilometers. The sanctuary is home to some of India's rare high-altitude animals, like the snow leopard, red fox, Tibetan wolf, ibex, and blue sheep. Visitors can also see birds like the Himalayan snowcock and the bearded eagle. The plants here are sparse but include many medicinal types, some of which are rare and endangered.
