Kutlehar Fort (Solasinghi Fort) in Una, Himachal Pradesh

Kutlehar Forts, also known as the 'Forts of Solasingi', are a collection of forts located in the Una district of Himachal Pradesh, India. These forts were originally constructed by Sansar Chandra, the ruler of Kangra, and later renovated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1809. Situated at an altitude of 4500 meters above sea level on the Solasingi Dhar Range, the forts offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Gobind Sagar Lake and Pong Dam.

Despite their historical significance, many of the forts at the Kutlehar Forts site, specifically 10 out of the 16, now lie in ruins. The forts' ceilings are constructed from massive stone slabs, showcasing the architectural prowess of their time. Surrounding attractions include the picturesque Gobind Sagar Lake, the dense Kutlehar Forests, and the grand Raipur Palace, adding to the allure of Kutlehar Forts as a must-visit destination in Himachal Pradesh.
