Mudh Village, also known as Mud Village, is a charming hamlet nestled in the Pin Valley of Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India. Situated at a lofty altitude of 3,810 meters (12,500 feet), it is the last village on the Spiti side of the Pin Parbati trek to Kullu and the Pin Bhaba trek to Kinnaur. Home to around 200 residents living in about 30 houses, Mudh offers a serene and picturesque setting. The village is renowned for its lush greenery, particularly vibrant between July and October when the vegetation flourishes due to the nearby Pin River's nourishment. Despite visiting in April, when the winter snow had just melted and the landscape was beginning to bloom, visitors can still discern the stark contrast in Mudh's landscape compared to the rest of Spiti Valley. This verdant charm has also attracted Bollywood, with scenes from the movie "Paap" being shot here in 2003, highlighting the village's scenic appeal.
